If you are just starting a collection of music for your kids and want some suggestions, here are ten essential artists and what would be my favorites. Again, only my personal opinion here, but this would be a great start for anyone looking for a good range of music and a great beginning for your kids including rock, folk, pop, lullabies, and a little bit of everything else. In no particular order:

 5) My Best Day by Trout Fishing in America
 6) Way Out by Justin Roberts
 7) Coconut Moon by The Green Chili Jam Band
 8) Yes to Running by Bill Harley
 9) Sleeping with the Fishes by The Music Workshop for Kids
10) If I Ever See an Owl by The Terrible Twos
