When this CD first arrived, the first thing that I noticed were the song titles. I'm partial to CD's that start off snappy and happy and end with soft easy music. You can listen to it all at once and enjoy, or at different times of the day. Happy songs os much more than that. It is everything a children's CD should be.

The music is fun, and it's easy to tell that the artists enjoy what they are doing. I like "Breakfast Time", and the title cut "Happy Song" will have you boppin' along. Every cut is enjoyable, except one.

The song is Goodnight Moon. To say I enjoy it is like saying the Sun is warm, that Everest is just another mountain. It is a contender for my favorite lullaby of all time. Why? I read Goodnight Moon to my kids, as did I have it on my bookshelf when I was growing up. The song is not true to the book in the sense that it is not just a reading of the story in song. What it is for me is a trip down memory lane. When I hear "good night room, good night stars...goodnight moon" it reminds me of putting my baby to bed. I would personally recommend this CD to anyone, of any age. More to the point even if the remainder of the CD was blank except for "Goodnight Moon", I would eagerly put it into my collection for just one song.
